Somdev devvarman is an Indian professional tennis player. He won two NCCA singles championship title consecutively in the year of 2007 and 2008. The first Asian and Indian to achieve that feat. He is currently ranked at 320 on ATP ranking. He recently won Lexington ATP Challenger series, only the second Indian player to achieve the feat in recent years. It is said that he will be among the top 100 ATP ranked players and the highest ranked India tennis player.
In Vancouver Open (2008) Somdev reached to quarter-final, where he lost to Japanese player Go soeda. He also plays for Indian Davis cup team and was one of the member for 2007 Davis cup team.
